Who the program is for, and what to expect

What we treat: Anxiety, depression, trauma, and OCD.

Who we work with: Adults, young adults, and teens

Format: In-person in Agoura Hills. Three days a week, three hours a day (about nine hours weekly). Telehealth is available on an as-needed basis.

Please note: This is a structured outpatient program, not a crisis or emergency service.

Were you referred by a therapist or physician? We coordinate with them throughout your care and when the program is complete, we return you to their care.

For clients who can commit to about nine hours a week, typically over three days, our IOP offers structured, compassionate care for people whose symptoms interfere with daily life. We blend individualized therapy and EMDR with skills-building groups and restorative practices such as breathwork, restorative sound and relaxation, movement, life-skills coaching, and nervous-system restoration, all in a calm, private, and respectful setting. The goal is measurable improvement in everyday life: steadier mood, better sleep, and a return to the things that matter.

Why we can help

Lasting recovery often means treating the whole person – brain, body, and spirit. We pair evidence-based psychotherapy with gentle, targeted practices that help your nervous system settle, so the insight you gain in session is reinforced by real change in the body. Our approach is realistic, paced, and focused on daily life.

Our approach

Anxiety, depression, and trauma aren’t only thoughts. They live in the nervous system. Under chronic stress, the body’s built-in alarm can get stuck “on,” which shows up as poor sleep, trouble concentrating, low mood, and fatigue.

Because these patterns are physical as much as mental, we work on both levels: therapy and EMDR to address what’s underneath, and somatic and neuro-regulation practices such as breathwork, movement, and neurofeedback, to calm the body so that therapy can take hold. Change is gradual and paced, so your system can relearn a genuine sense of safety and you can steadily return to daily life.

Meditation, sound, and restorative practices

Restorative practices like meditation, sound baths, and breathwork are woven throughout the program. They calm the nervous system and create space to reconnect with yourself. Some people experience meditation and sound therapy as spiritual or meaning-making; others simply feel calmer and clearer. We meet you wherever you land, always according to your own beliefs, and either way, these practices are part of how we help you heal.
